Well, after a long journey we have made it to Virginia. Carol, Bradyn, and Emmersyn flew in yesterday while (me)Blake and Gary drove in two days ago. Gary and I decided to make a road trip out of it. First we drove from Shawnee, OK straight too Knoxville, TN where the university of Tennessee is located. Our plan was to buy some tickets and go to the football game in which Tennessee was playing Mississippi State. Two opponents with a lot of double letters in their names. Our goal throughout the trip was to eat at some good local establishments along the way. In Tennessee we stop and ate at Gus's Good Times Grill.

The game was pretty fun, and we of course wore our OU stuff to the game which solicited a lot of weird looks from Tennessee fans. After, the game we headed to North Carolina to visit Gary's brother for a day. While in NC we visited Hanging Rock State Park and took a short hike to a nearby waterfall. This was a good time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The last thing we did was on are way from NC to Virginia we stopped in Chapel Hill to visit the University of North Carolina Campus. It was very beautiful with large trees and brick sidewalks every where. Well, we are glad to be here and we're even more glad for the fact that Oklahoma passed a law that you can't smoke in restaraunts anymore.
