It Runs in the Family...

On Monday, I asked myself a question. Q. "How can I help my friends Bradyn and Gary out today?" A. "I can babysit Emmersyn since they both have to work. Correction, they asked me, but I was happy to oblige.
The previous times I've watched her, she's thrown up all over herself, me, her bed, the floor, etc. So I was determined that it was going to be a good day.
It started well enough. We played hard. I got her laughing pretty good a couple of times. Finally, nap time rolled around and she was pooped. So, I took her in her bedroom and started to lay her down.
As I was leaning over to put her down, my back went out. I felt it go and it was excruciating! I somehow managed to put her down in the bed before I landed on the floor. I couldn't get up and started yelling at Blake (who had stopped by to bring me some lunch...thank goodness!). The sad thing about it was that when he walked in, I was on the floor, paralyzed with pain, and Emmy was standing up in her crib laughing hysterically. It was a slap in the face to get mocked by a fourteen month old.
Anyways, three days later, I'm still recovering. I am so thankful that I was diligent to pack early last week. I have just a little bit left and a week to do it. Please be pr'ing for me as I recover. I'm trying to be wise but also get things done. And pr'y that Emmersyn learns to not laugh when people fall, although I'll be honest, I would have done the same.
