The Homestead

Gary, Bradyn and Emmy arrived late last night, sadly they lost a few bags but I'm sure they'll show up. Carol and I moved into our place a few days ago. We live on the first floor of a three story home. All the houses here are built straight up because of lack of space. A national family lives in the two stories above us. We start official language school on Monday. We are looking forward to it. These are a few pictures of our place. Hope you enjoy. We have been staying busy exploring the city and getting used to our surroundings. We have been learning a few key phrases to get around, but still the best tool is to sign it out with your hands. Tonight, we plan on staying up all night to watch the National Championship. GO OU.

Our living room is made up of three froshes which are basically large cushions the size of a couch but the back is just several large moveable pillows leaned against a wall, surprisingly comfortable.
This is a picture of our kitchen/laundry room. We have a washing machine but no dryer so we let them air drive. I am sure some of you can relate with this at some point in your life.
