Look Ma! No English!

Language update! Well, we are in the last of three "Salaams" in class. We beat Salaam 1 & 2 and are now working on our last one. If I had a camera, which I don't, I would take a picture of our book so I could show you. But we feel like we've made significant progress. Salaam had the Arabic script and spelled out phonetically, as well as the English definitions. We thought we were moving up in the world when we got to Salaam 2 because we lost our phonetics and had to rely on the Arabic script for pronunciation. Well, now we have made it to Arabic script only. If we need a definition of a word, we have to ask for it in Arabic and the teacher describes it in Arabic. When we feel like we are not making progress, we can look back and remember the days where we had no idea what was going on!

Other than language, not much else is going on here, although May and June are starting to get busy! Blake and I will be moving closer to downtown at the end of this month so we are pretty excited. Also, I will be running a 10K with some other girls in the capital city in two weeks. The most I've ran in the last 4 months is 2 miles, so it should be interesting!

We miss everyone so much and hope to hear life updates from all of you soon!
