Always Carry a Helmet, You Never Know When You'll Need It

I had a new experience tonight. I went to see a friend at one of his usual hangouts but could not find him but I ran into his brother. His brother then offered to help me locate him. After, searching a couple of nearby places he got on his motorcycle and signaled for me to hope on back. And so I did. Sorry mom. We went through the streets in search of his brother dodging people and cars. At one point he decided to race another person on a motorcycle and the next thing I know we are zooming down the street weaving back and forth through concrete medians. I'll be honest the whole time I was picturing myself flying off the back. I held on for dear life and tried to act like I knew what I was doing. But for the most part it was kinda fun. This is something you see alot here because not a lot of people have cars so if they have motorcycles you usually see two people on them. This time I was one of them. I have come to find that safety usually comes second here or maybe third. No seatbelts in taxis, no helmets for motorcycles, or for construction workers, and if two people are walking together one of them watches for traffic and the other keeps talking. Mom I promise I'll buy a helmet and carry it with me wherever I go. Let me know which one of these helmets I should look into getting.
