Three Countries + One Mountain Range = Awesome Vacation

Well, we returned yesterday from our vacation. We had an amazing time and are glad/sad to be home. We flew to a town called Bergamo in Italy and then spent one night in Verona, two nights in Innsbruck, two nights in Salzburg, and one night in Berchtesgaden (in Germany) and then traveled back. We loved Austria. It was fun for me to look like everyone else. Pretty much every waiter that talked to me tried in German first until I said "Do you speak English?" or I tried to say one of the few things in German that I know. Because it was such an amazing trip and because we saw and did so much, I'm going to post a few different blogs so it doesn't get monotonous.

Our first night was in Verona. We didn't arrive until about 8 PM so we didn't see a whole lot, but what we did see was great. We spent alot of time looking for a cheap place to eat and for our hotel, but it was a beautiful city with a beautiful river running through it. Here is a picture of the theater in the middle of the old part of the city. There was a concert going that night and while we were standing there, people all decked out started pouring out of there. I mean tuxes and evening gowns and they took all possible restaurant seats that we could find so we ended up back at the train station eating in their little cafeteria.
The next morning we caught the train to Innsbruck and the views were incredible as we traveled from the foothills to the middle of the incredible Alps!
