The Final Countdown...

Well, day one of hardcore packing is over. We actually have most of our stuff packed up and ready to go which means day two of hardcore packing will not be quite as hardcore. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day for Blake because he has to try to get our internet and electricity cancelled and paid for. You see, the electricity here runs 3 months behind. So, we just paid the June electricity. Since we are leaving, Blake has to go to the electrical company and pay the last three months of our stay at this apartment. Now, this would be a challenge in English, but he's going to be doing it in Arabic. We have certainly come a long way from the days where it was hard to go to the grocery store!

Here is what is on our "to buy" list before we leave: cheddar cheese, peanut butter, a wii numchuck, ink for our printer, and a tennis racket. Random stuff.

Tonight we six hung out with come co-workers and played Rock Band. We ordered Pizza Hut for the last time and just enjoyed our time with them. Now that we are moving far away, we will only see them every once in a while and most of them will be leaving to go home soon anyways, so it was kind of a bittersweet night. But we are blessed to call them our friends and hope to see them again either here or back home!
