We returned a couple of days ago from Spain and it was a good trip. We saw some interesting architecture and went to visit the IKEA store. And oh did I mentioned got pickpocketed. We rode the subway everywhere and we had been warned about pickpocketers so taking precautions I took my wallet out of my pocket and put it in Carol's satchel so they wouldn't be able to get to it. How naive! The worst part about it was that it was a nice looking lady that was probably in her forties and a younger girl that did it. We weren't suspecting it from them. One of them bent down to play with Emmy at the same time they unzipped Carol's satchel and grabbed my wallet. About 30 seconds later Carol realized what had happened but it was too late they had already gotten off at the next stop. After this we went to the police station to report it and we talked to about ten people that had also been pickpocketed or had there purses stolen. Crazy. But we figure if their going to steal like that they must need it more than we do. We were happy to have the chance to see some other places in the world while we are here. But I think what we learned most from the trip is that we are right where we are supposed to be. It has given us a new appreciation for this country.

Have you guys considered the possiblility that Emmy was in on it? I mean, who stops to play with a cute little girl... honestly? Just keep your eyes out and make sure she doesn't stumble onto some designer dipers in the next few days!
