The Village People

About a week ago we had the chance to visit a village. It was quite the experience. Hospitality is very important here and so they want to make sure you're well feed. So we ate and ate and ate and ate and ate. It was good but a lot of food. Carol had a good chance to learn how to use natures bathroom. Quote from Carol "it was the best view a person could ever use the bathroom to, but slightly chilly." It was very beautiful with the snow capped mountains and at night the stars were incredible. One thing that was interesting was that despite not having facilities most people had satelite television. Strange. We had a good time and built some great relationships. One funny thing happened on the way back we somehow got our vehicle stuck in the snow. Here is a picture of Gary trying to dig us out of the snow. Note the shorts. If you look closely you can see the lake we were trying to reach in the background. We never made it. The second picture is Gary and Emmy over looking the city.
