Today was a big day for Blake and I. My sister Katie finally arrived! She was supposed to be here on Monday, but because of the blizzard, her flight was canceled, but she got here today. We are excited to have her after a year of being away from her. She got here safe and sound this morning and we went to the capital city to see the sights. We saw the view from the old city and then went and drank mint tea. While we were there, this cat sidled up to me like we were old buddies. It was gross and Blake shooed it away for me. We're excited to celebrate Christmas with Katie and are grateful for all of the fun stuff that was sent in her suitcases!
