Blake's Red Bird

Our most avid readers who actually read the birthday messages will notice in our birthday message to our friend, Beau, there was mention of a Red Bird. One day Beau came home with this little red bird statue that he claims he was "drawn to". Of course, we made extensive fun of him and it is a great laugh whenever we think of it. But, Beau, Blake has an apology for you.

We have a state fair type of thing just down the block from us. It is pretty fun to walk around and just see all of the junk that they were selling. It was fun to wander and shop. Gary rode a ride and then regretted it later after he remembered that they were not good enough for American state fairs. Anyways, Blake had gone a few times and I finally got to go. He pointed out this booth that had all things electronic mini-fountains. We spent a good while just looking at them and he was going back and forth on buying it. To put it shortly, he was "drawn to it".

So, I went last night and bought it for him and it has a place of honor in our living room. I'll do another post soon on some of the other fun stuff we purchased at the fair.
