What Are You Doing With That Dental Mirror?

Yesterday I went to the barber to get a haircut. This was my sescond time to visit this particular barber. I went in and greeted him and and then I noticed a man sitting in the corner, spitting into a small bucket that was sitting on the floor. I found this very odd for a barbershop. I shrugged it off and sat down. Then a teenage boy came in whom I figured wanted a haircut. But to my surprise he was pointing to his mouth. Then the barber pulled out a mirror that a dentist would use. I asked the barber what he was doing and he said that he pulls teeth for people that can't afford to go to the dentist. People here drink a lot of sugar in their tea and drink a lot of tea. And many people don't brush their teeth and cannot afford to visit the dentist. So pretty much everyone you meet here has a few missing teeth. If you can picture it all this took place while the barber was in the middle of cutting another man's hair. Talk about full service. Next time you go to get a haircut check to make sure he also does dental work. If I ever go to the dentist here I'll ask him if he also cuts hair.
